SDG Stephanie says "I lost weight!"

So after months of nursing school and sitting around, I stepped on the scale one day and WHOA! I had gained over 15 lbs!!! How did that happen? I mean, I am relatively active...I dive a couple times a week...hmmm. Then I took a mental account of what I had been eating. Let's see....yes, In and Out Burger was definitely on the menu quite often! Oh yeah and then the daily sugar boost with my M&M's! Looking back, I realized the path that had brought me to this day where I found myself staring at the numbers 156 between my toes. Now what? I jumped off the scale and plopped down next to my hubby and said "it is time for US to get in shape." Yes, it is a partnership all the way down to gaining and losing poundage! So we turned over a new leaf...starting with a trip to the Co-op to get our healthy foods and then a stop at the gym to renew our membership. Over the next month and a half we worked out religiously and ate healthy and I lost a whole 2lbs. Well that is discouraging. Then, one day while sweatin' to the oldies I noticed a girl who I had seen several times at the gym but the difference between her and I was SHE was actually getting smaller. I walked over and asked her how she was doing it! That is when I found out about the cookie diet. She told me that all you have to do is eat a 90 calorie cookie in the morning with a big glass of water, if you are still hungry in 15 min, eat another one. Then at lunch repeat that process and for dinner eat a sensible mean from 700-800 calories. I laughed at her and said "first of all, 1 or 2 cookies will not keep me full and second of all who eats cookies to lose weight?" And she smirked at me and said "I do...case closed." Dr. Sanford Siegal's COOKIE DIET™ So last Tuesday April 13th I got my cookie diet order in the mail and me and my husband got started. I was so surprised that I was not hungry like I thought I would be and the cookies are super good! The day I started the cookie diet I weighed 154lbs. NO I did not take a before picture...I mean...come on would you? I don't want to memorialize this whole thing! But I promise I will take an AFTER picture soon! Over the last week I did cheat on my diet a couple times, once I ate out at the Yardhouse and then another day we went to the movies and we ate 3 tubs of refillable popcorn! And even with that...I weighed myself this morning and guess what? The scale told me 147.6!!! Happy Dance!!! So I am going to keep on eating my cookies because summer is here and that means bikini season and with the results I have had in just a little over a week...I can only imagine what my weight will be by June!!! So I will keep you posted on my progress over the next several weeks and if you are doing the cookie or any other diet successfully, feel free to comment! I am also open to words of encouragement :)
